Jiao was born and raised in China. She moved to Canada with her family in 2007 and took her hair dressing training in Medicine Hat Masters of Hair design in 2011. After 1 year of apprenticing, she received the Red Seal inter provincial License and has been a stylist since. She recently moved to the island with her family and is looking forward to starting a new chapter here.
Being bilingual gives her access to new trends and hair preferences from both cultures. It also enables her to assist clients with a language barrier.
Apart from styling, Jiao enjoys drawing and painting. Pencil and sketch book were her best friends when she was growing up. After being inspired by her mentor in hair school, she discovered a passion with acrylic painting, which allowed her to introduce colours into her creations. Being a hair stylist is the dream job for her since combining shapes and colours comes natural to her.
She is very excited to join the Hair District family and looks forward to working with all her clients and co workers.
